Entering is easy as 1, 2, 3 – just follow the steps below:

1. Take a look at the entry topic for each week’s contest provided by C.A.R.
2. Submit your entry on that week’s contest topic via 1) Twitter, 2) C.A.R blog, or 3) email. (see below for more information).
3. C.A.R. will announce the winner and the winner will notify Amanda by email to select and redeem his/her prize.

• Tweet your entry by following the instructions for that week’s contest.
• Follow us on Twitter at @CAREALTORS_EXPO to be eligible. If the contestant is already following the @CAREALTORS_EXPO account, then the contestant only needs to tweet based on that week’s contest directions to be eligible.
• Don’t forget to use the event hashtag “#CAREXPO” in your tweet!

To enter on the C.A.R. Blog

• We’ll announce that week’s contest instructions in a blog post.
• Comment on the post and follow the instructions to enter.
• Include your name and email in your comment.

To enter by email

• Find the contest instructions at http://expo.car.org.
• Email your entry to the email address specified in the instructions.

Official Rules
Entry:  No purchase necessary. You must be eighteen (18) years or older to be eligible for this sweepstakes. Limit one entry per person per contest. Employees of C.A.R. and its affiliates and their family members are not eligible. To enter, submit your entry via Twitter, the C.A.R. blog or by email, according to the instructions above. You may also enter by mail without submitting a written entry on the weekly contest topic. To enter by mail send a 3x5 card on which you have hand printed your first and last name, address, telephone number, date of birth and email address (if available) to: C.A.R. EXPO Luncheon Sweepstakes, Attn: Amanda Gardner, 525 South Virgil Avenue, Los Angeles, California, 90020.  Mail in entries cannot exceed one (1) per household. Entries must be received by C.A.R. during the following times:

• Contest 1 - From August 23, 2011 to August 28, 2011 at 11:59 p.m.
• Contest 2 - From August 29, 2011 to September 4, 2011 at 11:59 p.m.
• Contest 3 - From September 5, 2011 to September 11, 2011 at 11:59 p.m.
• Contest 4 - From September 12, 2011 to September 18, 2011 at 11:59 p.m.

Entries will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the Twitter account or e-mail address submitted at the time of entry. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet Access provider, on-line service provider, or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution etc.) that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address. All entries become the property of C.A.R. and C.A.R. may republish the entries in any C.A.R. publication at any time, in C.A.R.’s sole discretion. C.A.R. reserves the right to end this contest at any time without notice.

Prizes:  One (1) winner from each contest will be awarded a free ticket to one of the three EXPO luncheons.  Each prize has a value of up to $85.00.  Prizes are valid only on the date of the event.  Tickets must be redeemed prior to the start of the event. Winning tickets may not be used for entry into any other event. Prizes are not redeemable for cash. No refunds will be provided to winners who have previously purchased a luncheon ticket. If the winner chooses the EXPO luncheon for PRE, he or she must purchase, or already have purchased, a ticket to PRE. Winners may select from one of the following events:

• EXPO Opening Luncheon on September 21, 2011;
• EXPO Closing Luncheon on September 22, 2011; or
• PRE Luncheon on September 20, 2011. Winners who choose the PRE Luncheon will need to purchase a separate ticket to attend PRE.

Winner Selection: Winners will be selected in random drawings held on August 28, 2011 (contest 1), September 4, 2011 (contest 2), September 11, 2011 (contest 3), and September 18, 2011 (contest 4). Winners will be notified via Twitter, email, or phone call and be provided with instructions on how to claim his or her prize. Odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible entries received. All prize drawings will be conducted by C.A.R. All prizes will be awarded. Limit one prize per person (Each contestant can win a maximum of one of the four contests).

Winners will select the event they would like to attend and notify Amanda by email. Winners of contest numbers 1, 2, and 3 must contact Amanda to choose their prizes no later than noon on September 12, 2011. The winner of contest number 4 must contact Amanda to choose his or her prize by 5 p.m. on September 19, 2011. The winner may pick up their ticket at the registration counter during EXPO hours. Winners must pick up their ticket prior to the start time of the luncheon they choose to attend.

Liability: All taxes on prizes are the sole responsibility of the prize winner. By entering, participants release and hold harmless C.A.R., their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees, and agents from any and all liability or any injuries, loss, or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with this contest or any prize won.
