CARMEN HIRCIAG
Carmen Hirciag is a senior
research analyst at the CALIFORNIA ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS®
(C.A.R.). She is responsible
for most survey research, writing articles, creating

Carmen joined the association in 2003 as membership
development manager. In that role she managed various

With over 34 years of real estate
experience, Heidi has an extensive background in property

in Marin County for 20 years and is currently the Vice
President/Principal of Terra Firma Global Partners with
offices in Napa, Sonoma and Marin Counties.
Heidi was also a Broker Associate and the

Joel Singer
Joel Singer is Chief Executive Officer and State Secretary of the CALIFORNIA ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® (C.A.R.), a statewide trade organization with 165,000 members dedicated to the advancement of professionalism in real estate. Singer was instrumental in developing Real Estate Business Services Inc. (REBS), C.A.R.'s for-profit subsidiary, and serves as its president. He also is president and chief executive officer of zipLogix®, a subsidiary of REBS.
Singer has held the Association's top staff position since November 1989. He previously served as C.A.R.’s Chief Economist and headed the Association's Public Affairs Department. He also has been directly involved in the development of key business technologies and significant housing legislation in California.
Before joining C.A.R. in 1978, Singer spent several years as a Chancellor's Intern Fellow at UCLA and a Fulbright Fellow in West Germany.

At age 18 John worked for the #1
specialty retail company in the United States. Operating in
the largest shopping centers across the country, this
company made more money per square foot than any other in
the kiosk business. John quickly became

as a stereographer for PassmoreLab, where she worked
side-by-side with programmers to develop a proprietary 2D to

of 30 women. She has since developed
