Communication Across All Borders Do you want to expand your business
and work with foreign buyers and investors but aren’t quite sure
how to communicate with them? According to the National
Association of REALTORS® 2015 International Home Buyer Report,
most international buyers are coming from China, Canada, Mexico,
India and the United Kingdom, and California is the second most
popular state for foreign buyers to purchase property. Buyers from
these countries have different customs and knowing how to
communicate with them can make the difference between landing or
losing the listing. Learn how to work with these buyers by
understanding their customs, how to greet them, phone and email
etiquette, and break down any barriers so that you can effectively
communicate with potential international clients. |

it’s face-to-face or through Facebook, online and in-person
networking is essential to growing your business. Networking
provides an opportunity to share ideas with others in the real
estate industry, learn about new technology or business
strategies, gives a platform for you to share why you’re valuable
and what you’re looking for, and creates a community of
professionals. Successful networking leads to referrals from other
REALTORS® and clients, recommendations from businesses in your
community, and a network to reach out to for questions and advice.

they can’t afford to buy a bigger house but want a change of
scenery in a new neighborhood. Reaching out to your closed
clients, longtime leads, and referrals from time to time will help
keep you top of mind when the timing is right for them to buy or
sell their next home. Learn valuable tips and strategies you can
